The Bitcoin owners are buying up luxury property with inflated crypto. You buy $100k of Bitcoin in 2016, it's worth $10 million today. You don't really care if the property costs $2.2m or $2.6m, you're just spending your "free money".

The supply of Bitcoin is large enough today that's increasing the money supply.
