Recently I picked up shares of Rightmove PLC (online property marketplace) at 27x earnings, 25x forward earnings. I've never paid so much for a company before and I don't think it's "value investing" - but returns on assets of over 100% annually with profit margins hovering around 50% and a c.37% payout ratio + share buybacks... I liked it enough to do something I've never done before. Maybe I'm becoming desensitised to multiples in this market.
