China has so far invested 200 million renminbi (US$24.2 million) in the development of TD-SCDMA technology, and Siemens is expected to invest a further US$40 million.

Ha! They want us to believe they created this whole thing, with all their own IPR, and only spent $24 million doing it? Yeah, right!
