Talked to my Bro' who is in the ISP industy. Like "WAP" on the mobile tel, he considers DSL a transient technology. He added that DSL is a compelling technology, but it is "too late", as the constraints related to distance weigh, cable on the on side and wireless on the other is clearly in focus. If any, he would bet on equipment makers.
Bandwith is also an issue, the new 11A standard allows for high capacity, hence DSL loses competitive advantage.

He gives DSL 3 to 5 years after that wireless technology should replace it. The crunch in the valuations of resellers and equipment makers is justified.

From a pure trading point of view, I won't exclude a sort of DCB in the titles, currently it is a market of "wet feet".
