The conspiracy theorist in me notes the 1:28 non-announcement coincides perfectly with the second, and very carefully supervised, trip to the highs of the day. I wonder if, especially in the DJII case, "They" were intending to goose the market on the news -- whatever disasterous news it turns out to be -- explaining it away as "all the bad news is now out" and turning magic-number DJII 10700 into support. Just a coincidence I guess that the DJII came right up to 10700 again right at 1:28. WELL BOYS YOU BLEW IT! IT'S A FAILED RE-TEST NOW, BABY!
