Personally, I had all male doctors until maybe twenty years ago.

Interestingly, I was raised entirely on female doctors. Partly it was because my parents believed that any woman who got through medical school was going to be significantly smarter, better, and more dedicated than the average man, so you had a much better chance of a good doctor with a woman than with a man. Partly it was to support equality. And partly, frankly, it was because women back then were a lot cheaper because nobody would pay them as much as they would pay a man.

But anyhow, I never saw a male doctor or dentist until I was in my twenties.
