Religion(s) is evidence of itself. It has history, doctrine, artifact, ceremony, practice, etc. I think what you may have meant is that religion does not provide evidence of God. But it does. Religion has testimony from witnesses and a recorded history of first hand experiences by followers. It has scripture that is predictive and it challenges followers to test scriptural claims for them selves. It has evidence, what you probably meant to say is that it doesn't have physical proofs that can be tested scientifically. Of course that is arguable as well. >>

Of course I mean a god. That is understood in the discussion. You use stuff like that to obfuscate the discussion. Because that is what religious people have to do.

The age of enlightenment was when we started using the empirical method to prove or disprove myths.

And in fact Christians had to go from a literal interpretation of the bible, to an allegorical one, as too many things in the bible can be proven as false e.g. the earth was never covered with water and the age of the earth is 5 billion years old not 6,000.

So you are just posting more nonsense. There is not one piece of HARD evidence supporting any god anywhere that could pass the peer review of a panel of scientists that has ever been found to support the existence of any god.

Not one piece!
