Anyone listen to the Gene Burns show on KGO last night? He was discussing the Nasdaq when some crybaby called in and started railing on him by calling him some pretty nasty names just because Gene was not sympathetic to the Nasdaq plunge (conjurs images of some people on SI). It served to remind me of the mentality of those who can't take a loss in stride. They think the market owes them something. They are whiners who don't belong in the market. They think that someone like Bob should be able to time the market with perfection. They are fools. It also served to remind me that capitulation is getting closer. Bob talked about this long ago. People will wish they had never heard of stocks. It seems like we have more to go but noone will know when capitulation is here until it's behind us in the rearview mirror.
