Oracle cuts the numbers a bunch of ways, as they should.
They discuss Services (all services - support, consulting, education), and discuss Applications (all licenses and services in the applications business). They talk about license revenue growth rates, but often don't break out the raw numbers.
Another concern from the con call was that it appears that in platform revenue, Unix revenue was flat year-to-year in Q4, while NT revenue was up about 100%. So, if I heard right, all the license revenue growth in Q4 came in one platform. Oracle owns Unix, and has effectively buried the competitors there. However, despite SQL Servers weaknesses, MSFT is a formidable competitor, especially given their pricing power.
