hey ed,

you're absolutely correct. backing up on a floppy is most effective. and easy. in fact you just reminded me to do a new back up.

i put most of my system back ups on jaz disks. this blink site just seems like a good extra place to upload bookmarks to. in case a disk gets misplaced or damaged, you know?

but i don't think backing up is the main thrust of blink. it's to have your bookmarks accessible from any pc. i was just jabbering away like i always do when i get enthused about something. <g3>

thanks for reminding me to make fresh back ups.

:)
