Just saw this extremely cryptic news story: Intel Corp seen in price strategy for Klamath By Barbara Grady SAN FRANCISCO, Jan 30 (Reuter) - While Intel Corp is the comfortable position of having almost no competition for all but its cheapest microprocessors, the playing field is about to become more crowded. Price cuts announced this week might reflect the industry leader's strategy for dealing with the fresh competition, notably a pre-emptive challenge to Intel's yet-to-be-released Klamath chip, analysts said.
