Hi FSP, I use a similar method that keeps a cap on the total $$$ at risk in a rising period. It asks "If you were only willing to risk $10,000 at the bottom of the price cycle, why should you be willing to risk much more than that at the top?" It's more complicated than that, but not much. It's an algorithm called AIM.
VTSS has been frustrating my methods for a while by not having a decent decline!! Whadda shame!
