I do believe that there are some situations that are so conspicuously harmful that it's like reckless disregard to not give aid and comfort but just do nothing.

Actually, that question was on some values instrument that Solon posted a while back. As I recall, my threshold for moral responsibility for inaction was on the low side, so you must be off the charts. Did you do it?
