Thanks for pointing out that Finnish law would prohibit Nokia from pre-announcing negative earnings on an accelerated schedule.

BWEB (small cap. software) recently pre-issued positive earnings in order to quell market panic because a company they are often associated with in the minds of investors MRBA (but are actually quite different from) pre-announced poor earnings. I have witnessed several other accelerated reports from major companies but it has been so long that their names aren't re-entering my memory right now. SUNW did today inadvertantly, so it would appear...
