Do you know if they use the CA blend or the national, dirty blend in Denver, CO? That city is much like the bigger cities in CA that traps auto emissions in valleys and marinates us in smog. I'm fine with paying more for the cleaner air we have, but I do a lot more breathing than driving.

Also, it accelerates the switch to electric. My skeptical and far more libertarian - fiscal conservative buddy I had dinner with last night as part of our monthly networking hike to town, has been happy to take the $ from the government to drive an electric car that he and his wife can share to get the commuter advantages when needed. The lease is up in a few weeks so they are making a decision to buy either a Tesla Model S or 3.... after I've convinced him he only lives once and he should spend some wealth on performance, luxury AND safety rather than another Leaf or the tiny Fiat he's driving now to finish another buddy's lease.
