I'm not surprised, especially after EMC "warned" this morning. If EMC didn't give its preliminary results this morning I doubt NTAP would have given its warning today. Maybe they feel if the bad news is packaged together the impact won't be as bad. ;) Seriously, I sincerely doubt ANYONE on this thread, me included, expected barely profitable to be in the range of estimates for the quarter. Long NTAP since May '99...
