I'm going to argue this one a bit longer. Don't know why. Maybe because this easy drift into the practice of splitting really gets to me.

The democrats are proudly playing politics with our lives.

In that statement, you are effectively calling democrats the t-word. They're willing to have us die to win their petty partisan feud. There are two things wrong with that. One is that it is ugly, neither centrist or civil.

The other is that it is incorrect, at least so broadly applied. Just because some people are not true believers in your approach to islamofascist terrorism does not mean that they don't have our best interests at heart with an approach that they deem superior. Just because they don't agree with you doesn't mean that they can't be honest and it doesn't mean they can't be right. If you want to say that you consider objection to the administration's approach wrongheaded and dangerous, have at it, but anything beyond that is partisan demonization. IMO, of course.
