Too many people over there. I don't see how that problem gets solved? Population is still exploding in that part of the world. People shouldn't have to live in abject poverty.

People don't think about how the world's people and societies need to function for the long run.

People are not doing the planning they need to do because they cannot change or see the problems they need to solve.

In Asia they have near unsolvable problems, but we could solve our problems but instead have devolved into a sort of anti intellectual barbarism where a large portion of our society lives in a fantasy world and romanticizes chaos and so just wants to destroy our entire society. It almost seems like the way people behaved in the south when forced to integrate.

They cut of their nose to spite their face (northern liberals) i.e. brought the closet racists in to run their societies and they end up with things like destroying their unions and income and turning down free Medicaid that would provide medical insurance to millions of people who really need it most.

Lee Atwater's southern strategy. So cynical.

E.g. we need to shed primitive ideas about things like income inequality being OK or societies structured vertically. They must be structured more horizontally. And we need a society of roles more than titles and plan around stasis (or we destroy the planet), we need more income equality, stronger and more sophisticated social and educational structures, or we don't survive.

But I don't see us achieving any of that. We just keep adjusting to terrible situations. Like the frog in the pot of heating water. And then yell and scream when the product of our own behavior comes back to bite us in the ass and never even realizing we caused it to begin with.

But you know all that.
