I do not know, but Microsoft certainly could and didn't. Hal, I don't know how to respond to your assertions that Microsoft is slow to innovate and improve it's OS. Why? Because it's like that bumper sticker that says "I may be slow but I'm ahead of you!" What more can I say. Win95 is a pleasure to use, as long as you can deal with the occasional and random blue screen of death -gg-. Evidently I can deal with it, because I am using it.
