It's an older article with old data. The ratio of subsidy to useful power is the interesting part.

Where I see this going is voluntary and then mandatory devices installed in your home to limit certain appliances at certain hours. After that, it will be charges to deliver power to whole communities at certain hours to get the communities squabbling amongst themselves.

Then it will be politically favored communities getting the water, er, electricity. We've seen it all before.

Highest on the pecking order will be the Snail Darter or Delta Smelt, or whatever blameless icon they want to use to blackmail us.

The psychopathy of the left knows no bounds.
