Marshall,

You mean youse guys in Florida play games while the NFLs on.What kind of religion is that? Here in Chicago we stay glued to the TV no matter how badly da Bears are getting their faces stomped. It reaffirms our suspicions about the nature of the universe and Chicago's position in it.

Actually thats great news.I imagine it will be that way through out the season.Maybe I'll research the DANB here one Sunday.Lets keep our ears peeled for news of the MS conference this week.I hope they announce some expansion plans.

The Fed according to current wisdom will either do nothing or raise .25.Flip a coin.

I think if the Fed does nothing RAIN may retreat a touch tomorrow before joining Capt. Kirk and Mr.Spock in charting unknown territory. It first hit 34 after the Gurnee open and its passed some major fire tests since then. Then came the July swoop (where we really made some money buying on the bottom) then back to 34 on the DW opening before it started dropping again probably on leaking news of the secondary as volume scriveled up.Then the price rose again on the week before the offering on slightly increasing volume until its back to 34 again post-offering on huge volume.I think 34 is a fair value for it at least and the small caps are just starting to heat up.I think everybody expects RAIN to beat expectations this Q with it best Q still ahead. To be honest its very exciting when RAIN leaps forward but for the long-term outlook I'd just as soon have it run 'reasonably priced to slightly under valued' (although beauty [and value] is in the eye of the beholder) than see the price rocketing through the stratosphere (I couldn't resist!).It would be too tempting to sell some then particularly with the next outbreak of 'inflation jitters' waiting around each corner.

Hope you enjoyed your field work.......I may give ATIS a go this week........Wifey says my internet habits OK as long as she's allowed to go to bed early when she wants too and sends her regards.

Happy Tuesday,
Dennis
