i can’t understand how you can do this. What Mq says is based on a large body of posts over many years - as known to everyone who’s in the habit of reading him. You dismiss it all by simple declarations - “She did not… that would be a mistake… that’s up to Putin”

Everyone knows that Liz is a Russia hater. The UK is accused of blowing up NordStream 3 weeks after she became the PM - and she was fired a month afterwards. Quite likely, there is a connection.

Sanctions work both ways in the best of times. This time, they work much more against Western Europe and the Western block in general — than against Russia.

As far as “ it’s up to Putin” - yes, up to a point. And it’s up to the West as well. NATO tried to expand not just East - but East of Moscow. Russia's objections were dismissed as total bullshit - which, very predictably - and as they’ve been warning - led to war.
