There has been plenty of commentary on the peacock on the other thread.

OK, here's may take on CNBC, the nightly shows:

Grodin shows up every night completely unprepared which is why he rambles. If we have to see him take him off and show reruns of Midnight Run and Seems like Old Times where is at least interesting. But he has no business in politics or talk TV, especially after Matthews. Compared to him Geraldo looks like David Brinkley (actually Geraldo is rather bright on legal issues, though he still is a tabloid whore).
