I won't call it a lie but it is probably just ignorance on your part in this instance. Because the Democrats lied about it and you believed them. Rescission is an exceedingly rare event and can be done pretty much only when the applicant committed fraud. By law, no insurance company can cancel a policy without cause. And that law has been in place since 1997 (there was a less restrictive one before that).

Obamacare adds, really, nothing in this respect.

And they don't need money. There are attorneys in every corner of the country who will take rescission cases on a contingency fee.
