Of course not. But the people who make the cries about "root causes" think they know already, and they know wrong, since they view everything through a warmed-over Marxist lens. They insist it's poverty and colonialism even those these explanationa fail the laugh test wrt to Osama bin Laden or Ayman al Zawahiri.
