Milosovic sought to do the same thing except in this case there is no money in Socialism or Communism anymore so he appealed to Serbian nationalism and historical grievances to consolidate his power. The enemy was the other ethnic groups. Kill them or they might at some point kill you.

Thanks. That puts things in a much clearer light. I was wondering why Milosovic had a thing for "ethnic cleansing," and why NATO is advocating military strikes.

Problem is, as the 11 o'clock news once reported, most Americans can't even find Kosovo on a map, much less explain what this whole military strike is all about.
