I don't know if it is right-wing, but I do know that it is just another of those lunatic theories!<g> As long as you approach investing as purchasing a piece of a company (as Warren Buffett does, and some of us try to do) that generates real profits and divides some of its growing profits among its shareholders, you really don't have to care whether those Wall Street urban legends are true or not.

These wacky theories are usually thought of by gold bugs. I don't buy it (their theories as well as their gold). Besides, those gold bars can weigh you down when you are trying to escape from them rampaging mobs, you see!<g> So, even if I did buy those theories and really believed that the world's financial system would come to an end soon someday, I still feel that the best portfolio diversifiers are a shotgun and a motorbike. Not gold. Certainly not!
