Not a bad Week 13 for Mister M - 4-1 with money splits to make it even better on the profit side.

Panthers (+8 1/2) at the Jets - Damn, this was a bad call. I got suckered into the trend (Jets flunking the tests against lower-rated teams) but failed to take account of the fundamental rule of football gambling - it's all about matchups.

Vikings (-2 1/2) at the Cowboys - Easy money - my biggest play of the week because, as predicted, there was no way the 'Boys corners could keep up with Moss. Obscenely profitable decision.

Bucs (-2) at the Bears - I was surprised that this wasn't a little closer, but the result wasn't that surprising. The Bucs have the matchups in this one, especially on the lines, and the weather cooperated nicely.

Oilers (+2 1/2) at the Seahawks - A perfect illustration of the importance of shopping around for your best spread. Once Del Greco hit the field goal, I was on Easy Street.

Eagles (+18) at the Packers - Another easy-money win. Rhodes helped me out by inserting Detmer into the starting lineup. The Pack continues to be overrated on the numbers, although the Bally's quote of a pick 'em in Tampa this week looks tempting.

Early lines of interest:

Pack (pick 'em) at Bucs
Pats (+4) at Steelers
Cowboys (-6) at Saints
Bears (+16) at Vikings
Dolphins (-2) at Raiders

Anyone else see anything interesting out there?
