I think we already have a fovorable government in Iraq or we wouldn't be there in the first place.

Bush keeps reiterating the wrong points about our policy in Iraq, like we are going to win the war. How silly, we already won the war years ago when we kicked out Saddam. Now, we are only trying to support the peacekeeping or security phase of the post war conflict. If the high number of attacks bothers people, we should be blaming the killers not the US politicians.

So much has been accomplished in the ME, but the success has been completely overshadowed by the lack of popularity for Rummy and Bush. Now, this review phase to bring Gates into office is making a complete joke of all of the hard work so far.

I think the politicians on both sides need to tell everyone that the rhetoric between the 2 sides was only necessary to win votes and we still need to get along. The terrorists will still be killing people just like the rebels are attacking oil platforms in Africa. They are only out for their own self interest.
