Yes. There is an obvious double standard on ESG and global warming.

The USA is closing coal plants, taking out dams, reducing emissions.

China is continuing a massive buildout of coal-fired electricity plants, with 40-year lifespans. Building dams. Rapidly increasing emissions. By their own admission, their air, water, and soil are heavily polluted.

The US environmental movement should be calling for a boycott of Chinese products, until China adopts U.S. environmental standards. Instead, they insist on ever-more rigorous restrictions in the USA, while giving China (and India, and Nigeria, and Mexico, and….) a pass.
