OT - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), storage follow up.

Today we have the announcement that ORCL has beaten eps for the quarter and posted some significant eps numbers. This is a significant event ala the Intel announcement in the semiconductor equipment area last week.

Essentially I suspect that since ORCL has not disappointed, brokerage houses will be upgrading the ERP group now. This is as close to ringing the bell as Wall Street will get.

SAP, ITWO, PSFT, ORCL, JDEC, SEBL are all moving nicely higher this morning.

In the thin client area CTXS has announced a channel partnership with IBM. IBM is now one of the largest IT consulting firms in the world and having them in a partnership with Citrix won't hurt.

Finally, in the storage area a loser for the time being. NTAP has gone nowhere but south. Luckily for me, I also own LGTO which has done nicely.

Another loser is WIND. Now at levels near where I suggested it, but in a weak chart pattern.

PS, communications chip stocks are still rising. Seems like the brokerage houses finally figured this out. ML increased target prices on the group earlier in the week.
