LG's prediction was "short-to-medium term". He was talking about a time frame of the next few days or weeks only. He was not predicting a 90% decline in the stock price. If asked later, he probably would have given a longer-term warning, when the stock moved below the "rising trading channel", or when it broke below its 200-day moving average. Maybe he did give such a prediction, but not in the posts you referenced.

LG doesn't post any more on SI. He was banned for a while, due to some nasty flame-wars he was involved in, on the MDI thread and other competing threads. He couldn't get along with a lot of posters, and quit in disgust. So, he has a demonstrated ability to irritate people, even more robust than mine. I guess it depends on the circumstances. But, he's not a good example of Sweetness-And-Light, to ask me to emulate.

I'd be curious (and impressed) if anyone, anytime in 2000, predicted NTAP in single-digits in 2001.
