ICGE last posted earnings on 11/11/99. It's been out of lockup for about 10 days now and notices of sells were filed with the FCC on 2/14. Also, this Friday report from Reuters is worthy of note:

DuPont and Internet Capital in new e-commerce deal
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2000 11:09 AM
- Reuters

WILMINGTON, Del., Feb 18 (Reuters) - DuPont Co. (NYSE:DD) said on Friday it would form a joint business-to-business electronic commerce venture with Internet Capital Group Inc. (NASDAQ:ICGE) to expand markets in areas like apparel, chemicals, construction and e-procurement.

The new venture, called CapSpan, is DuPont's latest effort to capitalize on the rapidly emerging Internet economy while preserving its strong presence in traditional markets and distribution channels, the company said.

CapSpan also strengthens Internet Capital Group's position as a business-to-business e-commerce company by using DuPont's presence as a buyer and seller in several markets to fuel the growth of its collaborative network of partner companies, DuPont's statement continued.

CapSpan will seek to develop what DuPont called "neutral marketplaces" with other companies, including those within Internet Capital Group's network of more than 55 partner companies.

Erik Fyrwald, DuPont's vice president of e-commerce and new business development, will become CEO of CapSpan. Skip Maner, Internet Capital Group's vice president of acquisitions, will become chief operating officer.

The venture will be based in Wayne, Pa., where Internet Capital is headquartered.

As near as I can tell, ICGE has earnings this coming Friday, though I haven't confirmed with IR. Its chart shows it near the bottom of its trading range of the past 2-1/2 months since it split.

It has recently been picking up fresh analyst buy recommends, including an 'Aggressive Buy' from Piper Jaffray.

For these reasons, buying ICGE at a suitable entry point Tuesday morning may be worth your while.
