I bought gold as a hedge against panic - not as an alternative currency (though it makes more sense to trust gold than an economy held hostage by Wall Street hyperbole and loose money policies of the Feds.)

Since I look at stocks as sources of income (whether or not I need the income at this point of time) rather than as pieces of paper that are guaranteed to appreciate, my outlook as well as expectations are different from those of many other investors. I know I have to tread a different path, but I don't think that the path is paved with gold! <g>

I know you wouldn't also believe the Slick raped Brodderick was not raped. Even if he did, you would consider that as irrelevant, while at the same time, blasting Vajpayee for trying to cover-up Jayalalita. They have a word for the in English language, hypocrisy!

Erm... the word is "hearsay". While the former allegation is based on hearsay and there is no way to say who is right, the latter is based on evidence of the Attorney General of India arguing that the special courts set up by the Tamil Nadu to try Jayalalitha had no validity -- a tune that he had to quickly reverse when the lady dumped Vajpayee!
