Though CRUS's pathetic worthless sale-less Rambus AGP Laguna was anounced today, S3 has failed anounce their plans for AGP support.
I was hoping that S3 would have had a similar desperate press release today to get some laughs. The only AGP compliant design that matters is Intel's.

Here is a reality check: CHPS has already given up the 20 year evolutionary design of the 64bit or 64/128 ext/int 2D accelerator to INTEL. I recommend that S3 start designing top of the line RAMDACs because rest assured that, that is the only part of the graphics that Intel won't get into--S3 probably won't even make any money in RAMDACs because this probably means they have to put Rockwell/brooktree on royalty welfare.
