Didn’t get to the 3rd part yet, Frank. This morning I took a walk and listened to the 2nd part. When I came back home, I started listening to the 1st part… all over again.

I think talks like this one - along with John Mearsheimer talks, especially the recent ones, like the one in Hungary - are a great opportunity to learn. To take a closer look behind the curtain.

Of course, one needs to remain cognizant of the danger of becoming brainwashed. Of fulfilling LindyBill’s dictum that smart people are easier to brainwash - because they learn faster. The fact that what all those people are saying has the “ring of truth” - and may appeal to us - doesn’t mean that things are necessarily the way they describe them.

So, we must be careful - and continuously, critically re-evaluate our understanding. If we do that, we have a decent chance of getting close to the actual reality. Why bother? I think it’s fun. I think, perhaps, that’s what God would like us to do.
