Bear Stearns Tech Conference Update : -- Technical -- Bear Stearns provides an update from presentations at conference. Intel (INTC 20.29 -0.78) has very little visibility; firm says if current weak atmosphere in PC/microprocessors continues, more drastic action in terms of expenses could happen. QLogic (QLGC 43.55 -0.70) is confident in prior guidance; says new opportunities coming up with DELL and EMC. Bear is cautious on TriQuint Semi (TQNT 7.02 -0.06) near-term; believes end markets remain challenging, while co did not offer comments on financial guidance. Brokerage is comfortable with Agere's (AGRa 2.36 -0.27) ability to manage liquidity and debt issues, as co reiterates guidance.
