Agree. For a lawyer, being afraid of a government backlash does sound odd. Actually, as Frank just pointed out, there are some ongoing litigations: tennesseestar.com But still, it appears that for an attorney to take on an “unpopular” client could be damaging. Trump’s lawyers do not seem to fare too well. Even Rudy Giuliani - the great America’s Mayor - walked away with a reputation of being a strange person - and likely, a drunk.
