Ken, why would anyone be offended by the use of a scientific term to describe a member of a race of humankind? Caucasoid sounds like a space alien but it doesn't offend me, since it's the age-old reference to one of the races of humankind. In fact, it wouldn't offend me if the terms whitey or cracker were used in the dictionary to describe that particular race. Afterall, the first word below merely refers to the Latin word for black and the second refers to white. Are we all now expected to wear blinders and pretend everyone is a neutral shade of beige? Pretty silly, isn't it, to make such a fuss over ancient scientific terms?
