I am skipping the flu shot this year, even though I could probably qualify since I developed Type II diabetes. The diabetes is being controlled with medication, diet and exercise, and I am only 52. Plus, I almost never get sick anyway, and my heart is strong. Let someone who needs the shot have it.

I did have the pneumonia shot a couple of years ago, and there doesn't seem to be a shortage of those, so maybe that would be a good solution? Because what kills you from influenza seems to be pneumonia, most often.
