The Never Ending Case of Obama Craving Media Attention

We're all the same in many respects, and one of those is that we all have an ego. It's a part of being human, but few people take it as far as the media craving attention that President Obama seeks out. I understand that all politicians have a healthy ego as that's to be expected in today's political climate. Most politicians are attention seekers and love having the spotlight on them. However, I find it astounding that in a city seething with narcissistic politicians, Obama finds a way to outdo them all. He just can't seem to stop himself from inserting himself or his wife into every conceivable media venue that they possibly can. He has an in acute affliction of constantly craving media attention.

The latest example is of Obama taping a segment to introduce the new Cosmos series on the FX network of channels. (I thought Obama hated Fox as they own the evil Fox News that actually dares to question his dictatorial mandates. He even tried to have them cut out of the news loop at the White House and his administration derided them as not a real news outfit. Yet, his intense hatred for Fox News won't stop him from running to the camera and mugging for it.) I wonder how many people will lose interest in the show once they see his lying face on their tv screen. I also find it funny that he's promoting science when all he does is back failed science. He promotes green energy when it still isn't viable, he worships at the altar of man-caused global warming, and he has gutted NASA.

The Cosmos series is just the latest media grabbing appearance that he's made. Obama has made multiple appearances on shows like David Letterman, Jay Leno, Jon Stewart, the View, and Jimmy Fallon. He has sat on Oprah's couch and even picked basketball brackets on ESPN. He's been on Saturday Night Live and his wife made a taped appearance at the Oscars. I don't that there's a tv show that they won't agree to appear on. I'm expecting them to pop up on Agents of SHIELD or The Walking Dead any time now. Well, actually the only place he won't do an appearance is to answer direct questions. He always appears on shows that will only fawn over him and ask softball questions. Obama finished his first term with less press conferences that Clinton, George Bush, and George W. Bush.

One would hope that he would realize that seeing him pop up in popular entertainment will turn off viewers, but then we realize that he's a total narcissist that thinks everybody else thinks that he's as great as he thinks he is. You can see how much of a narcissist he is and how big an ego Obama he has just by how thin-skinned he is. Any criticism of him at all, no matter how slight, is enough to blister him with rage. He uses federal agencies to harass and intimidate those who don't support him. These are not the actions of a man secure in himself. Rather, it shows an insecure person who craves adulation, yet has no discernable talent to achieve such. Obama is truly our celebrity-in-chief.
