George, I can only discuss public information on Trident, as I have on the other companies I discussed previously. Unfortunately, I don't have great information on Trident and I'm not following their Silicon Investor site regularly.

A little history. When ATI got our first big "Rage" win it was with IBM. We displaced Trident from the IBM Aptiva business. I had thought that we might have dealt a serious blow to them and their stock took a big hit from the $30s to the teens. But those guys just refused to die. They came back with several design wins in Asia and then a launched their own, decent-on-paper 3D chip. So, the real question for Trident is design wins. If they have them lined up, they'll do okay. If not, bad news. Same for ATI, S3, Cirrus and the rest. Watch for the design wins (like the previously posted S3 Toshiba win or the recent ATI win at Gateway). That usually tells the story.

Good Luck.
