Prevailing winds go east, so if you are west of Ground Zero, that's even better. I gave a talk at an NSA seminar at Va Beach (and San Diego) last year that included an explanation of how to use my one-minute fallout zone calculator. Most of the attendees lived in the DC/VA area so we discussed those prevailing winds. The prevailing winds in your area are Southwesterlies blowing NE. 60-70% of the time that should be true. At other times the winds will blow towards any other compass heading. Your winds today are from the NW. Tomorrow they are forecasted to shift to the S. Best to check daily if you have any concern. uw
