Andy, I don't think that LGND is overly concerned. There was one 15,000 share trade at 16, but by and large its retail selling and wholesale buying and the drop is more to shake out retail than anything else. If the big boys are convinced that the announcement won't happen for several more days, they'll will hold off. If not, they will start falling all over each other fairly soon. Anyone paying attention knows that the diabetes deal and clinical data will produce a significant move up, but if big boys can get LGND for 16, they will hold back. They have been picking up the retail sells, but each notch lower flushes out a few more sells.
