No offense taken, Borzou - my point was that your statement was an excellent demonstration of flawed logic that is reinforced over and over by the media at the behest of the left. The mantra consists of fear mongering ("your parents will eat cat food and freeze to death") demonizing anyone ("those hateful Republicans will starve children")that is slightly to the center of a given political issue, and results in statements like the one you made.

It is about politics - the litmus test for feminists and the vast majority of the left includes abortion rights. That isn't to say that the center and some on the right don't all agree with the right to chose, but don't keep repeating drivel like "the left has no power."
