This is toooooo funny !!!! several hundred trades a month of 1 share each....talk about milking the AmEx free trading system (that is no longer free, of course !!) fool.com The nonprofit zone at AmEx Brokerage "We have several clients who were trading two or three or four hundred times per month -- who are trading in one or two shares at a time. And that, frankly, was business that we didn't anticipate. We didn't know there were that many people who would trade that often for one share. That was a segment we did not know existed. And frankly, we reinvestigated that because it is not a segment we're interested in -- at any price. That was not what we were trying to attract.... Jimbo.
