Archaeologists Believe They’ve Discovered The Forgotten Capital of A Long-Lost Civilization©Source: Pixabay

History often hides its greatest stories beneath layers of soil and centuries of silence. In southeastern Europe, archaeologists are unearthing a settlement once thought insignificant. What appeared to be a forgotten outpost is now emerging as a site of extraordinary historical weight, possibly the lost capital of a Macedonian kingdom with direct ties to Alexander the Great.

For many years, the ruins near Crnobuki in North Macedonia were regarded as little more than military remains. They were dismissed as an unremarkable station guarding against Roman advances. Today, however, new findings are reshaping that perception, pointing instead to the heart of a thriving ancient city.
