The key today's announcement was this: "The MAX TNT uses the same familiar Ascend software and access modules as other MAX products, giving service providers a single, highly scalable platform for network expansion," said Bernie Schneider, vice president for strategic business development. "When used in concert with Ascend's GRF 400 high performance router, the MAX TNT WAN access switch provides ISPs with a MegaPOP infrastructure that can produce packet-forwarding rates of up to 2.5 million packets per second." Ascend software............ Their radius server is the standard in the industry, COMS' is not. This X2 hype has been completely blown out of proportion, I expect soon the K56 crowd will have more to throw at X2, and if indeed CSCC's switch sales are as good as all indications point to we could be looking at an explosive upside move. The MM will try to shake weak again,or maybe the purging has occured, but sit tight. Kevin
