What innovations are not in windows that would be used by a majority of consumers? I think that windows does what most people need it to do to perform what most people use a computer for. Life is more than spreadsheets and email. (well not for me, but for most people) If the monopoly becomes overly complacent, it will meet the better mousetrap in a dark alley of the future. But if it continues to be responsive to most peoples needs it will continue to exist. Unless it can be proven that MSFT has used illegal strong arm tactics to maintain its positions I think we have to let nature take its course. JB
