youtube.com This was the guy I was thinking of a few days ago, Thomas Hampson, who didn't kill himself, that was some other opera guy. Janet says Hadly (sp) but I don't know. A piece everyone knows, sort of, or at least a little bit of it. Youtube once had a stage performance, costumes and so on, which he really nailed. Without knowing where it was performed.....oh well. Hampson seems like a very happy fellow. Sure wish I could find that video, that was the first I had seen of him. Knocked my socks off.
